One of the things I love to photograph are bygones, relics of an earlier age, things from a previous time. Gone but not forgotten and to be found in many a heritage museum and railway up and down the breadth of the land.
I love to photograph them for their intrinsic interest and for their forms, tones, textures and colours. An interesting collection of our history and what has shaped us and made us what we are today.
It is nice to know where we came from and these artefacts speak to us of the life and times of our ancestors now long gone.
Living, breathing, wonderfully preserved, tangible reminders of how things once were. Allowing you to connect with past times and photographically beguiling as well.
